88% of Donovan applicants were accepted to the University of Georgia.
77% of the Class of 2022 qualified for the Zell Miller or HOPE Scholarship.
Donovan now offers school-day testing for the ACT and SAT ensuring that students are prepared for the college admissions process.
Junior Sabrina Katzman was selected to attend the Governor’s Honors Program (GHP) in the summer of 2022.
The Class of 2023 participated in Donovan’s annual Junior Class College Tour in September 2022. They visited the campuses of: Georgia Southern University, SCAD, Georgia College, Mercer College, Valdosta State, University of North Florida, and Flagler College.
Commitment to Service
Service Hours Per Semester
Students organize and participate in a range of community service projects with 20 hours of apostolic outreach required per semester.
The Donovan community partnered with Athens Clarke County to participate in the 2023 Athens MLK Day of Service in celebration and support of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday and commitment to service. It was, ” A Day On, Not A Day Off,” for our students.

Fine Arts Programs
Monsignor Donovan Catholic High School has a wide range of fine arts offerings including The One Act Play, Donovan Singers, Ram Band, Dance, Art, and Drama.
The Fine Arts Showcase hosted during fall semester highlighted the talents of our Drama students, Donovan Singers, Ram Band, R-Blu Dance Crew, Visual Art students, and soloists. The One Act team performed “This is a Test” by Stephen Gregg and later earned 4th place at GISA Region Competition. The Donovan Singers earned 4th place at Spring Literary in girls trio.
